About Me

 

Hey all. My name is Cassini McAlister. I am a 24 year old biology student and general goober.

I thought the first post for this new blog thing should be an about me/about this blog style thing, so here you go!

I am, as previously mentioned, 24 years old, and currently in my senior year as a general biology student. When I am not studying for whatever exam my professors throw at me next, I draw, make kandi, play video games, and occasionally make youtube videos. Some of my interests include vintage computing, obscure cartoons, indie video games, emo, scene, frutiger aero, and most things from the 2000s and early 2010s. 

As for my sexuality and gender[which will be important for this blog] I currently identify as aroace and agender. As such, I prefer they/them pronouns and am not interested in dating as of right now. As for getting into the semantics of these identities, that will be a post for another time. The "pan" aspect will make far more sense with that post.

As for disabilities, there are a few that I already have a diagnosis of, and some that I am trying to get a diagnosis for. 

The diagnosed:

• High functioning autism[technically twice, but that is for another post.]
• ADHD inattentave
• GERD
• Ambliopya[or lazy eye, even though I lack the lazy]
• Dyspraxia[or Developmental Coordination Disorder]
• IBS
• Overactive Bladder Syndrome
• Carpel Tunnel Syndrome
• Psychotic Depression[I suspect it may be schitzoaffective, but they are extremely similar]
• Generalized Anxiety Disorder 

 The Suspected/Currently Attempting to Get

• ME/CFS
• POTS[hence the POTS part]
• Rheumatoid Arthritis 
• ARFID 
• Dyslexia 

 

 

What This Blog is Going to Be About

Right now, this blog is going to be a combination of two things:

1. A sort of public journal where I can share my experiences.

2. On slower days in particular, various related subjects both personal and objective.

I plan on writing a new entry at least once a week, preferably once a day. However, that may not always happen. This could be due to a variety of different factors, such as exhaustion or being too busy with school.  If this blog goes silent for a period of time, that does not mean that it's abandoned. 

I also do plan on creating custom assets at some point, so expect that sometime in the future.

Keep in mind that this is my first time making a blog, so it may not come off as "professional." I'm trying my best here. 

Some of the topics will be a bit inappropriate for kids, and I do tend to use a bit of harsh language[F bombs, shit, that level of swearing]. I don't use any slurs.  Because of this, this blog will not be for anyone under about 15-16 or so.
